Today I'm going to give you a super easy recipe for a whole wheat cake with nuts, yuuuum!
Para 8 personas / for 8 people.
Ingredientes / ingredients:
- 220 grams of whole wheat flour
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 100 ml de leche
- 100 ml of milk
- 16 grams of baking powder (one pack)
- 4 cuacharadas de aceite de oliva
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 eggs
- 6 chopped walnuts, 50 grams of peeled pistachios and 3 tablespoons of raisins.
PASOS A SEGUIR / STEPS
In a bowl, put the whole wheat flour, add the baking powder and lemon zest if you want to.
Add the raisins, pistachios and walnuts.
Mix everything good.
In other bowl, crack the eggs.
And beat them well.
While you're beating the eggs, add the brown sugar slowly, until the eggs volume double. Add the oil and the milk and beat it all together.
Mix both doughs (the flavor one and the eggs one) and with a wood spoon mix until it's a well integrated dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
While the dough is resting put oil and flavor in the cake pan. Pre-heat the oven at 180º.
Put the dough in the cake pan covering all the spaces.
Bake for 30 minutes.
